Welcome to Day 2!
Let’s take this thing a little higher…you came for power, let’s put some wood on this fire!
Group Prayer
God we thank you this morning for a right mind. God in this season, we come boldly asking for mental focus, mental clarity, mental strength for the victory, for the fight, for destiny decisions. God we ask that you guide us and lead into the path for power, courage and conviction to elevate. God we thank you in advance for releasing more power, for trusting us with more power and giving us the anointing to use power to be more than conquerors in every area of life. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen!
Individual Prayer
What is your need, what areas in your life will be blessed by more focus, more clarity, more mental strength…declare it, claim your mental power shift and give God the glory for the release!
Today's Message
I wish we had more than a day to wrestle with this subject because for those of us that will testify, the mind is the battlefield for the anointed.
I know some folks try to make it sound like a cake walk, like we don’t have areas of weakness or mental struggles but the devil is liar! We have issues and most of those have to do with mind battles, mind struggles that we have to overcome.
Here are 3 traits that are critical to building a powerful mindset:
- Cultivating and practicing a powerful, encouraging and healthy thought life
- Intentionally developing knowledge and wisdom to grow by, and then applying it
- Self-love, self-discipline and self-control
Whether it’s depression or anxiety, fear or guilt, emotional healing or soaring, overcoming or to stop doing overtime in a season, indecision or conviction, attitude or confidence, every battle and opportunity that we face in life is going to be fought in the battlefield of the mind.
You were created to rule your mind, your mind was not created to rule you.
Walking by faith, saying no, letting go, staying in the fight, staying committed, choosing ourselves over being abused, choosing our destiny over some mess, healing from the past or overcoming childhood traumas, building a fulfilling relationship, or releasing somebody who wants the privilege of us without the responsibilities of us…requires a powerful mind.
Wrong decisions don’t cause us to miss our blessing, not correcting them does (James 1:13-15)
How many of you would be somewhere else, be with somebody else, be farther down the road, be living your dream life…or would have finished that degree, cut them off, started that business, walked out on faith, or made a better decision if you had used your powerful mind to the fullest?
There are some folks in our lives who are power killers. They drain us, they bleed us, they suck the power out of us. But I have some good news for you, they don’t have to change, you do. People don’t have to do anything but be who they are…and when God shows us who they are, we have to use our powerful mind to keep it moving (Matthew 10:14).
Now, I can tell you that none of this matters unless we have visions to decree, dreams to fulfill and goals to achieve. Nobody needs power who is not going to use it. Power is the key but if we’re not going to walk through the door, unlocking it won’t matter.
A powerful mind is for a purpose driven life!
Anytime we want something to get stronger or better, we have to work it out, practice, set goals and make a commitment to do what it takes to get what we want. A powerful mind is no different.
How can we harness our anointed power, use our gifted minds to make a power shift?
TODAY’S CHALLENGE
Mindfulness takes a lot of work, but the good news is that the longer you practice, the easier it gets and the more joyful your life becomes.
Put your power on your mind and your mind on your power:
- Write down 3 Major Life Decisions that are important to your future, purpose or happiness
- After you’ve written them down, sit with it, allow yourself to release any and all self-imposed restrictions, fears or limitations, and do the following:
- For each of your Major Life Decisions write down the next or first three action steps that are within your control that must be taken to make it happen
- Plan Your Actions: For each action step, write down the top 3 decisions that must be made to take action. For example, you might have to decide to let go of fear, stop procrastinating, commit to honoring your responsibility to do what you can do, work with what you have, ask for help, be willing to move out of your comfort zone, walk by faith, say no to agreements that you made in the past that no longer serve you or keep you from honoring your commitment to yourself.
- Put A Date On It: Write a date behind each action step and begin working towards the accomplishment of your goals with powerful decisions. Continuously pray over your life goals, and your mind.
The goal and objective of this challenge is to practice mindfulness, accountability and commitment to using powerful, results oriented thoughts to manage your destiny. Every opportunity, obstacle or challenge in life is going to require your commitment to using your powerful mind. Powerful thoughts produce results…Powerful Thoughts >> Powerful Plans >> Powerful Decisions >> Powerful Actions >> Powerful Results.
Remember, God said, “If you be faithful over a few things, He will make you ruler over much.” Every major shift, change and elevation in our life, and living our best life requires a commitment to being faithful over cultivating and using a powerful mind.
