Understanding Client Needs

Highly effective coaches don’t sell tools or credentials, they offer results. Understanding your client is paramount to delivering exceptional results. Understanding your client  involves active listening, motivational interviewing, and a person-centered trauma-informed approach to tailoring support and strategies to each client’s unique circumstances, challenges, preferences, and goals. In this session we will master the client profile:

  • Active Listening:
    Recovery coaches must use a trauma-informed approach to actively listen to clients to understand their current stage of healing, their individual needs, and their readiness for change.
  • Creating a Safe Environment:
    Trauma-informed therapy and other modalities prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship where individuals feel safe and supported, which is crucial for building trust and fostering healing. 
  • Tailored Support:
    Effective coaches adapt their approach to meet the specific needs of each client, whether that means being more hands-on or taking a step back. 
  • Goal Setting:
    Applying the R.U.L.E.™ technique when working with clients to set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) helps them plan immediate tasks and maintain forward momentum. 
  • The 5 P’s for transformational coaching:

The Transformation Coach™ Program is priced to be economically affordable. We do not offer payment plans but if you would like to reserve your seat at the Early Bird Registration price, you can do so by sending email request to info@patrickweaver.org. If approved, you will be provided with a nonrefundable “Deposit Registration” which will allow you to reserve your seat for a deposit of $400. 

Your deposit registration gives you the ability to complete your registration at the early bird registration price up to the day of the event, July 9, 2025.

Recorded sessions are posted to the group portal 24 hours following each live session, along with any class materials and handouts that were included with the session.
